Pilot Dave Heyburn:
Dave has been flying since 1979 with 1000s of hours in turbine aircraft, including time logged as a former airline pilot with Comair (Delta Connection). He holds several FAA certificates including Airline Transport Pilot (with three type ratings), and FAA-certified Aircraft Inspector/Mechanic. With a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, he served as a Space Shuttle Inspector for Lockheed.

Pilot Patti Johnson:
Anyone who knows the history of air racing and aerobatics in the United States has heard of Patti (Nelson) Johnson. She was a member of the U.S. Aerobatic team in 1980-82, winning one gold, three silver and two bronze medals. She was also Women’s National Aerobatic champion in 1982, and was the first woman to win a closed course pylon championship air race against the men (Reno, 1993, biplane class). Patti has been flying since 1970 and holds Airline Transport Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor certificates. She is also a Registered Nurse and past Pulitzer trophy recipient. |
